In-Room Sharps Wallmount Units
The 5 qt in-room sharps disposal system is the only sharps disposal
container awarded the Seal of Acceptance by the Alliance of Children’s
Hospitals. The sharps container is secured in a sturdy, locked enclosure.
The 5 qt Sharpstar counter balanced lid limits accidental or intentional
access to the container contents.
• “Full” warning, minimizes the potential for overfilling

Final closure features are built into the lids of all containers making them safer during
transport. All Bemis Sharps disposal containers comply with current OSHA regulations and
are fully disposable. Bemis Sharps containers also exceed proposed ASTM specifications for
needle puncture resistance. These containers are disposable, single use, and completely
latex free.
