Hangar Deck
Running the length of the ship, the Hangar Deck (the main interior deck of
Intrepid) is divided into three halls – Hangars 1, 2, and 3 – all featuring the
Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum’s exhibits, including aircraft.
Hangar 1 and 2
Guests enter themuseum inHangar 1, andwithinHangars1and2, you’ll find
great spaces for smaller events, cocktails receptions, seated dinners for up
to 60 people, registration, and coat check.
Hangar 3
Themost spacious andflexibleof our halls, Hangar 3offers theopportunity to
host seateddinners for up to1,000withclear site lines throughout the space
and is optimal for staging award shows, galas, meetings, presentations, or
trade shows. Withmore than 12,000 square feet of event space, Hangar 3 is
a unique combination of raw space and museum ambience. Built-in special
event lighting, drop-down screens, and sound-system capabilities ensure a
great experience for every event.
Flight Deck
Running the lengthof three football fields, theFlight Deck is thequintessential
outdoor venue. Host your event among Intrepid’s stellar aircraft collection
with majestic views of Manhattan and the Hudson River, from the Statue of
Liberty to the George Washington Bridge. The Flight Deck offers countless
event possibilities, including cocktail receptions, concerts, photo or film
shoots, all withdirect access to theGreat Hall for VIPs, guests, andperformers.
Pier
Our Pier offers endless event possibilities, with direct access to the Hangar
DeckandFlightDeck.LetyoureventsoarbeneaththeBritishAirwaysConcorde
locatedat thewest endof thePier. WithWi-Fi andpower, our Pier offers clients
and vendors a versatile and park-like space for corporate picnics, concerts,
festivals, seated dinners, andmany other types of outdoor events.
