to 2012, he championed the importance of IIW’s role in the development of international
standards and worked tirelessly to resolve the challenges in processing documents through
IIW and on to ISO.

He was always ready to contribute his extensive technical knowledge,
experience and encouragement and many were fortunate to hear him say ‘I am going to give
you the benefit of my experience’.
