life. Early on, a pension plan is invested in
the Adventurous Fund where a higher risk
profile yields higher returns. As time goes on
pens i on i nve s tment is swi t ched to the
Performance Fund which has a medium risk
/return profile. Closer to retirement, invest-
ment is switched to the Balanced Fund where
returns are more stable and risk is lower.
