Optic Neuropathy Risk - Synopsis
A TD of 45Gy/SD 1.8 Gy and RS with 1 x 8 Gy seem to be completely safe
At TD 50-60Gy/SD <2 Gy and RS with 1 x 10-12 Gy a low incidence of ON is
reported
At TD>60Gy with SD < 2 Gy and TD>50 Gy with SD >2 Gy
as well as
RS with >12 Gy,
ON risk increases quickly with dose and SD
