When models are fitted with a pull-type clutch this is unlike a traditional clutch unit, as the release

bearing in this system is locked into the pressure plate and fixed to the release fork. For this

reason, the transmission cannot be removed in the usual manner. It can be separated from the

engine only after the pivot pin of the release fork has been removed. In most cases the pivot pin

can be firmly fixed in the transmission housing and can be difficult to remove with standard tools.

That‘s why Euro Car Parts recommend using a suitable puller, (Klann KL-1600-10}.
