Equipment

Orifice tubes / Service caps / Valves

FUNCTION

The valves are used to fill in the A/C

circuit with refrigerant. They also help

preventing light refrigerant leaks on the

couplers.

REPLACEMENT

Repeated connection to the A/C ports

will lead to valve damage. When the

valve is damaged, leaks will appear.

Valves must be replaced when:

Damaged

Leaking

>

RECOMMENDATIONS

When replacing valves, use the component that perfectly

matches the original one: same shape and diameter

Every time you operate on the A/C loop, make a visual

check of the valves

Before changing the valves, we recommend to:

>

Clean the valve and the spot where it will be located

>

Lubricate the valve with the application A/C loop oil

>

Protect the valves with a cap (Service cap kit Ref.

509734)

>

Use the appropriate removal tools that do not damage

the ports (Valve tool remover Ref. 698965)
