d.
Except for golf carts driven by members with a medical disability, golf carts
shall be kept on cart paths around tees and greens; and on the fairways, they
are prohibited from approaching the green past the markers.
e.
Carts must abide by the daily instructions for use of carts posted to this effect
at the first and tenth tees (e.g., cart paths only, 90 degree rule, etc.).
f.
Members with a medical disability, attested to in writing by the treating
physician, may request the use of a distinctive flag to display on their golf
cart. The Golf Committee will review eligibility annually. Such flag permits
the disabled member to approach greens and tees no nearer than 15 feet to
greens and tees (park to the side or rear of them) and no nearer than 10 feet to
bunkers and edges of water hazards. On days when signs are posted, carts
must remain on cart paths at all times (including those with disability flags).
10. Golf Cart Safety
a.
Rule 1. Drive safely, carefully, and courteously. Do not allow small children
and/or grandchildren to drive.
b.
Rule 2. Do not forget rule #1.
11. Handicaps
a.
All players are required to post an accurate and properly adjusted score to the
computer after each round. This includes Match Play rounds as well as
Medal. If a player has picked up on a hole, then that player’s probable score
for the hole should be recorded. A member may post a maximum of two
scores per day (except when posting scores from other courses). If the
computer is shut down, please submit your scorecard with the proper score to
the Golf Pro Shop personnel to be entered when service is restored.
b.
If at least thirteen holes are played, the remaining holes not played, for
handicap purposes, shall be recorded as par plus any handicap strokes that the
player is entitled to receive on the holes not played.
c.
A player’s handicap may be referred at any time to the Golf Committee for
review and possible handicap adjustment. Failure to comply with handicap
rules may result in reduction of handicap and/or being barred from future
competition.
12. Rain Refunds. Full guest fee refund will be given when less than nine (9) holes have
been completed. There is no refund if nine (9) or more holes have been played. We
do not offer any type of Rain checks.
13. Official Holes-in-One
a.
For a hole-in-one to be official, a player must:
i.
Play with at least one other member (or spouse), and
ii.
Play a full 18 whole round in sequence.
