MR. PATRICK J. TALLAN.
A resolution was passed expressing the
deep regret of the members of the Council
at the death of their colleague, Mr. Patrick
J. Tallan, and of
their sympathy with
Mrs. Tallan and his family in their bereave–
ment.
A number of miscellaneous matters were
dealt with.

VACANCY
ON THE COUNCIL.
The vacancy on the Council, caused by
the death of Mr. Tallan, has been filled by
Mr. Thomas J. Greene, of 11 Wellington
Quay, Dublin, from the Supplemental List.
OBITUARY.
MR. HUGH H. MOORE, Solicitor, died on
1st March, 1933, at Lisnanandra, Crossdoney
County Cavan.
Mr. Moore was admitted in Trinity Term,
1872, and practised at Omagh up to 1887,
when he was appointed Clerk of the Crown
and Peace for County Cavan, which office
he filled up to 1926, when he retired.
MR. ALBERT R. QUINNELL, Solicitor, died
on the 5th March, 1933, at 6 Prince's Street,
Tralee.
Mr. Quinnell served his apprenticeship
with Mr. James M. Murphy, Tralee, was
admitted
in Trinity Sittings, 1905,
and
practised at Tralee.
MR. ARTHUR LEE BARLEE, Solicitor, died
on 16th March, 1933, at Ickleford, Hertford–
shire.
Mr. Barlee was admitted in Easter Term,
1872, and practised at 30 Westland Row,
Dublin, up to 1897, when he retired.
He was a Member of the Council of the
Society from 1880 to 1896, and was a Vice-
President of the Society during the year
1888-89.

MR. THOMAS SHILLINGTON, Solicitor, died
on the 27th March, 1933, at his residence,
Church Street, \Yarrenpoint, Co. Down.
Mr. Shillington served his apprenticeship
with the late Mr. Richard Simmons, Dublin,
was admitted in Michaelmas Sittings, 1909,
and practised at Newry up to 1932, when
he retired.

MR. BERNARD A. LEE, Solicitor, died on
the 30th March, 1933, at Clifden, Co. Galway.
Mr. Lee served his apprenticeship ' with
the late Mr. Henry Concanon, Tuam, was
admitted
in Michaelmas Sittings,
1920,
and practised at Clifden.
MISCELLANEOUS
PROFESSIONAL
INFORMATION.
The business of P. J. Byrne & Co., of Carlow,
which was carried on by the
late Mr.
William Early,
is being now carried on
under the same title by Mr. Edward Burke
Williams, who was admitted a Solicitor
in March last. The Dublin address is, as
heretofore, 12 Dame Street.
The business of the late Mr. Patrick J.
Tallan, of 106 West Street, Drogheda, is
being now carried on at the same address
under the title of Patrick Tallan & Co. by
Mr. Gerald St. John Nolan, who was admitted
a Solicitor in February last. The Dublin
address
is
as heretofore, 130 Stephen's
Green, West.
