Boiled and skimmed for half an hour; Tvhen cold add

10 gallons of water filled in a fountain receiver; add 8f

ounces of crystallized citric acid; add 8f ounces of bicar

bonate of soda in lumps or crystals; screw on the pipe

quick; shake it to dissolve.

3 small bunches of sweet fern.

3 do. do. sarsaparilla.
