an establishm en t for card p la y in g , b illiard s, chess,
& c ., for m en in office, m erc h an ts, and citizens in
easy circum stances. D u rin g the w inter, fo rtn ig h tly
or m onthly balls (except a t the K ing’s and M ilitary
Clubs) are added to the o rd in ary am usem en ts. T h e
