UNREPORTED DECISIONS OF

SUPERIOR COURTS

Mr. E. A. Plunkett represented the Society at a

meeting between the Incorporated Council of Law

Reporting

in

Ireland and

the Department of

Justice, which was held on 13th October 1969.

The following points were agreed upon :

1. Mr. Gavan Duffy would receive

for

the

Society's Library free copies of all unre-

ported decisions of the High Court and of

the Supreme Court. These decisions would

be filed chronologically by date of judgment.

2. Members will be entitled to inspect all un-

reported decisions of the High Court and of

the Supreme Court available in the library;

they will not however be entitled to obtain

photocopies from the Society of such deci

sions, but will be expected to bespeak copies

through the Central Office.

.

3. A summary of the more important unre-

ported decisions will gradually be published

in the

Gazette,

but, as there is a big back

log, this will take some time to complete.
