Several studies have shown that seroma after
surgery decreases over time.
Example:
N=34 pts, 4-6 fiducial markers sutured to the
cavity walls during lumpectomy
Simulation and RT on average 28 days and 39
days after surgery
During RT course the position of markers was
measured on kV images and using CBCT
