First Mates Report
What happened to the wonderful summer weather we have had? Can't believe
that we only have a few weekends left to enjoy our wonderful NCYC. Some
dates to remember:

General Membership Meeting and election of directors.
With regard to the Board elections we currently have three positions open with
the candidates listed as follows:
Vice President-Marie Pepin
Treasurer-Sheila Nixon
Recording Secretary (choose one)-Anne Malik or Linda Pagel.

The First Mates Appreciation Party
at
Fern Hill. In lieu of a gift exchange we are asking for donations to Care
House in Mount Clemens. They need a number of items. Stuffed animals
w/tags-no Beanie Babies; Individual snacks; Juice boxes-no red; Office
Supplies; Household goods such as paper plates, toilet paper, Kleenex,
cleaning supplies, toilet paper; Gift Certificates for Meijer, Target, etc. For
