Chaplain Art Brooks…
Members, Verna (Boots) Karasinski, a longtime member of the
NCYC family, had rotator cuff surgery the last week of February at
Henry Ford Hospital in Clinton Township. According to her family,
the surgery went well. She was scheduled to be home around
March 2nd. It was suggested, for the time being, that cards would
be a great way to send your thoughts and wishes for a speedy
recovery.
Please keep the Boots and her family in your prayers!
As I am writing this article, I was reminded of the next “cold snap” that is on it way. I am
wondering if this long cold spell we have been having has kept the bad health bugs at bay since
I have not been advised of anyone under the weather. Don’t like the cold much but am pleased
that we all are in relatively good shape. Keep healthy !!
