George Fenton

(C, 1963-1967) has

composed the music for Alan Bennett’s new

play

Allelujah!

which opened on 18th July and

will run until 28th September 2018 at the

Bridge Theatre in London. This year George

has also composed the music for the latest

Pokemon Go advert which was narrated by

Stephen Fry.

1968

Alistair Paton

(D, 1963-1968) has available

a luxuriously furnished two-bedroom

Richard Stevens

(E, 1969-1973) has been in

touch with the OSE Office to let us know

about his food blog My Easy Suppers.

“‘Hi! I’m Nick, and I have a food blog on

Facebook, called My Easy Suppers. Today,

there are over 22,000 fans. I can’t keep

up! The demographic profile of my fans

is radically different to mine, a disabled

geriatric man. When I started My Easy

Suppers, I certainly didn’t expect to attract

so many people - maybe a couple of

hundred fans at the most. But nothing like

22,000! And these people seem to love what

I do.”

purchased and was seen flaunting a splash of

Rhubarb after jumping out of a plane last year.

Graham Broadbent

(E, 1978-1983)

has been in the news this year.

McDonagh won Best Director, Best Actress,

Best Supporting Actor and Best Motion

Picture at the Golden Globes in January.

The drama also picked up five trophies at the

BAFTA Film Awards including Best Film, Best

British Film and Best Actress in February.

1984

Jonathan Holl-Allen

(B, 1979-1984)

wrote to let us know that he has recently

been appointed Queen’s Counsel. Jonathan

has practised out of the same chambers,

Serjeants’ Inn Chambers, since he was called

to the Bar in 1990, and his practice is mainly

in the fields of medical, dental and police law.

1985

Justin Maciejewski

DSO, MBE (C, 1980-

1985) has been appointed as the new

Director General of the National Army

Museum. Justin spent 27 years in the Army

and was awarded a Distinguished Service

Order leading his battalion in Basra, Iraq.

James Neville

(G, 1980-1985) completed

the 600-mile Fastnet Race in last year in

his yacht called INO XXX. He won classes

1, 2, 3 and 4 and the team trophy for the

RORC and was 6th overall out of 400

boats.

James Wood

(G, 1986-1991), who created

Rev

, thrilled BBC Two viewers in August

2017 with his new cutting edge historical

comedy,

Quack

s. The show which starred

Rory Kinnear and Rupert Everett depicted

the gruesome exploits of Victorian medics.
