This mild weather is still with us and
Central Coast residents take great delight
in entertaining and relaxing outdoors.
With the benefit of a retractable folding arm

you can create an outdoor room that protects

as creating a cosy and private ambiance.
FOLDING ARM AWNING
A folding arm awning is a retractable style
fabric roof awning that projects horizontally
from your home. It can be attached to the
eaves, or to bricks. It offers great protection
from the sun without having to move furniture
into particular spots as is the case with an
umbrella. This allows you more versatility

slide up and down, similar to a window. The
Ziptrak is lockable from the inside and/or
outside. The side channels can be custom
coloured to match your house exactly. The
most popular fabrics are mesh and PVC which
still allows you to enjoy a view. The quality
mesh fabrics also give you privacy during the
day. Surprisingly the new style of mesh fabric
now lets in very little (if any) rain and wind
through and turns the harsh summer sun into
a gentle winter one and still allows airflow,
unlike PVC. Ziptrak external blinds have been
used to enclose decks and pergolas’ creating
another room without it being a permanent
wall at a huge expense. Ziptrak awnings are
easily motorized and can be controlled with
a remote control or smart phone technology.
ALUMINIUM SHUTTERS
Aluminium Louvre Shutters are ideal for
privacy and protection. Aluminium Shutters
add the “Wow” factor to the external part
of your home and with a few panels can
modernise your home. We have had clients
add Aluminium Shutters just down one side of
a deck of their property to frame an outside
area and create a completely different living

from close neighbours, without blocking out
