at Tuam until his appointment in 19 11 as Chairman
of the National Health Insurance Commission in
Ireland.

residence, Redhouse, Castleblayney, on the 12th
o f March, 1951.
Mr. Laverty was admitted in Trinity Sittings,
1894, and practised at Castleblayney. He was a
member of the Council o f this Society from the
year 1924 to 1939; was Vice-President for the
year 1928-29, and President for the year 1934-35.
