All calculation settings are preset!

The user only selects between two
options denoted as: standard and high
accuracy levels.
These options control:

the extent of each of the 4 regions in the
multi-resolution Cartesian calculation
grid used
•
the number of directions for 1sc and
msc dose calculations.

Material assignment is ROI based (TG-
186 + applicator materials) otherwise
water is considered
within
the patient
external contour
➢
Density can be uniform (ROI based) or
HU based (ICRP 44/46 data + method
in Knöös et al. Radiother. Oncol. 5, 337,
1986)
