Creative Composition
Composition is referred to as the
skeleton of a painting - it determines
where the structural components
rest in order to create a functioning
whole. Understanding the relationship
of images to the space they are in,
allows you to make visual images
that ‘work’. The hands-on exercises
are designed to give you the tools to
explore, understand and compose your
art using the elements of composition:
balance, harmony, rhythm, emphasis,
value, colour, line, and perspective.
