Birding Walks
Winter is one of the most exciting
seasons for birders! Many birds
travel from cooler climates to stay
warm over the winter in Surrey’s rich
habitats. Shorelines at Mud Bay Park,
Blackie Spit Park and Surrey Lake
Park are great spots to view these
overwintering visitors. Get to know
Surrey’s birds and their habitats on a
free monthly birding walk at a different
park each month, with a local naturalist.
