reasons.
After lunch it was off to the training
facility of the Police Tactical Unit to
observe their passing out parade
which was a tremendous spectacle. I
have to offer our profound thanks to
the IPA in Hong Kong. They embraced
us in the true spirit of friendship that
embodies the IPA and nothing was
too much trouble. A huge amount of
organisation went into looking after
us and making interesting things
happen. This famous oriental
hospitality is undoubtedly at the
pinnacle of my IPA travel experiences.
I will definitely return to this city some
day, not only to see some of the
things I missed, but to reconnect with
my new IPA friends. And in case
you’re still wondering, the answer is
yes, it’s worth every mile of the 6000.
