One of the features of Voice Mail is called “Auto-Login.”
This feature connects you directly to your mailbox after
you dial “222” from your phone line. You will not be
prompted for your mailbox number and password.
Your Voice Mail service has Auto-Login enabled. If
you want the Voice Mail system to require a password
to log in to your mailbox, you can disable Auto-Login.
Your Voice Mail Service has a recorded greeting that
your callers will hear. The following directions explain
how to record your personal greeting.
In lieu of using these written instructions, the Voice
Mail system attendant will guide you through the
set-up process.
Step 1: Record Your Personal Greeting
1.
Dial the Number to Access Voice Mail (222).
2.
Press the * key
.
3.
At the Main Menu
press 9
.
4.
Press 1
for Greeting Options.
5.
Press 4
to Record a Greeting.
6.
At the tone, record your greeting. When you are
finished, press the # key.
7.
The prompt will then ask you if you want to:
a.
Press 1
to listen to your greeting (to review
how it sounds).
b.
Press 4
to record your greeting again
followed by the # key.
c.
Repeat these steps until your greeting is
acceptable.
8.
Press 2
to save the greeting.
9.
Press the * key
to return to the Mailbox Main
Menu.
Your Password has initially been set to 0000 (four
zeros). It is recommended that you change your
password using the directions below.
Step 2: Change Your Password
1.
Dial the Number to Access Voice Mail (222).
2.
Press the * key
.
3.
At the Main Menu
press 9
.
4.
At the Set-up Menu,
press 2
.
5.
Enter your new Password (1-16 digits), followed by
the # key (choose a number you will remember).
6.
Re-enter your password, followed by the # key.
7.
Hang up.
8.
Record your new Password on top of this page for
future reference.
You have now personalized your greeting and
password. You may change these at any time.
When you lift your phone’s receiver and hear a
stutter dial tone, you have a voice message. Refer
to the following steps to listen to your messages.
