Given the suggested protocol a 1-level MPN
protocol would be less onerous than a 3-level
one. It is not clear that the uncertainty level of
the 3-level MPN estimate would be
substantially better than that of a 1-level MPN
estimate.
The working group decided to keep the 3-level
MPN because this si standard practice and in
the AOAC validation guideline.
No change proposed.
Annex IV
In item 2 of the 25g protocol replace "and' by
'or' in the sentence about the third level
(compare to item 2 of the 325g protocol).
