GIRL’S NIGHT OUT “AMERICAN BANDSTAND”
By Marleen Hacker
Girl’s Night Out was held on Thursday, April 28, beginning at 4pm with a nine hole
scramble. Seventy five women, including Stacey Collins from the Pro Shop, made
their own four some, and were greeted with drinks and a “goody box” of snacks.
Following golf, the ladies enjoyed a wonderful buffet dinner, with Chef Bernd’s special
touches. Many thanks to Martina and her staff, who decorated the main dining room
with the theme of the night- “American Bandstand”. After dinner, the real fun began.
We all danced the night away with a fabulous DJ, and his dancers, who got everyone
on the dance floor, including our guests, Susie and Sierra from POA.
Kudos to Board Member Sandi Lamm and her co chair Susan Katz and their
committee, who did a super job of planning and organizing. Also thanks to the Pro
Shop for arranging the golf and staying late. What a great way to officially end the
FCLGA season and say goodbye to our golfing friends. Here are a few remarks from
some our members. `
Sandi Lamm “We had a fabulous turn out. Thanks to everyone for making this the best
Girl’s Night Out ever”.
Ellen Goldstein “It was great. I really hope we do this next year”.
Lyla Zucker “ It was a lovely evening”.
Eleanor Newman “It was so much fun. I didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to come back”.
Jeri Jacobs “ The music was great. I loved it”.
Happy Fathers Day at Frenchman's Creek.
