AOAC issued a Call for Methods for amino acids, biotin, carotenoids, fluoride,

folate, FOS, GOS, vitamin B3, and vitamin D

AOAC received methods for the following nutrients for First Action OMA

consideration

Amino acids, biotin, B vitamins, carotenoids, chloride, chloride/fluoride, folate, FOS, vitamin D

AOAC received AOAC 2012.22 - Vitamin C for Final Action recommendation

consideration

AOAC SPIFAN Review Team met in December 2015 and in February 2016 to

review submitted methods and to assess if there is an immediate need for further

standards development

Preparations for and meetings of both the Codex Committee on Nutrition and

Foods for Special Dietary Uses (CCNFSDU) and the Codex Committee on Methods

of Analysis and Sampling (CCMAS) considered methods for the following

nutrients:

fatty acids, inositol, iodine, nucleotides, pantothenic acid, ultra trace minerals (Cr, Mo, Se), vitamin

A, vitamin B
