Health Care
MCC Corporate College offers continuing adult education
for medical professionals. Our training courses address
the issues affecting today’s health care industry, and
include patient safety, health care administration, and
process improvement.

A nationally recognized 48-hour credit program in
medical/community interpreting. The program is based
on the industry accepted Codes of Ethics and Standards
of Practice and addresses in detail the process of National
Certification for Medical Interpreters.

Lean Six Sigma
Lean Six Sigma is a powerful, flexible, and proven method
for eliminating waste and reducing costs in organizations.
Those who have transitioned to a LSS culture have seen
a radical improvement in profitability, service levels and
productivity.

Learn to eliminate non value-adding steps and reduce
defects and variation, resulting in a more efficient process
and better customer satisfaction. To reinforce LSS
Green Belt skills, this course is project-based, allowing
participants a deeper level of learning, and the chance to
bring immediate payback to their organization.

LSS Black Belts will continue on after the Green Belt
course for additional training. Black Belt training
provides higher level tools and methodologies required to
function in this role. Program participants are required
to work through a real improvement project with training
and coaching over a specific time, before being deployed
back to the job.
