Customer Frequently Asked Questions

Will upholstery fabric stretch?

Some fabrics are inherently stretchier

than others. For frames that have crisp,

straight lines, such as our West Elm

Tillary Collection, we try to eliminate

fabric options that would tend to stretch

and create pools of fabric over time.

What is the difference between Quick Ship fabric and Special Order (SPO) fabric?

Quick Ship upholstery items are already built and ready to ship from our distribution

centers, typically arriving within 2-4 weeks after placing your order. Special Order

(SPO) upholstery items are custom made once you place your order.

Why do SPO orders take 8-10 weeks for delivery?

Each item is made to order, and due to the high demand for our SPO products; our

vendors, including our Sutter Street facility, are scheduling orders a few weeks out

from the time of purchase. We also factor in the time it takes to ship from our domestic

vendors to the nearest hub to our customer, and then schedule delivery.

Where are our upholstery fabrics sourced from?

As a company, we utilize fabrics produced both domestically and overseas. For specific

information on fabric origin, reference the back side of in-store fabric swatches.
