Merlion League
A big congratulations to our swimmers who represented
The American Club swim team at the Merlion League
that took place at The British Club on Sunday, February
12. It was the team’s first competition this year, and
we sent a total of 22 swimmers who participated in 65
events. We achieved a total of 35 personal best times.
Our competent team also amassed a total of 17 Gold, 11
Silver and 5 Bronze medals – an amazing feat!
In late 2016, our Club introduced the SwimAmerica
program to Members. We are pleased to share that since
the inception of the program, we have seen a great
deal of improvement in our Station 5 to 10 swimmers; 13
of our swimmers who participated in the Merlion League
benefited from the SwimAmerica program – evident in
their amazing results!
