Treating moving targets with passive delivery of particle beams:

Is more sensitive than photons (including IMRT)

(as take the depth and range into account)

Is less sensitive than scanning approaches with particles

Need to evaluate and to adopt specific case solution(s)

patient participation, anesthesia, frames, gating..

ITV, smearing of compensators,...

Push vendors to implement easy solutions on

Modern IGRT including 4D tools (up to online 4D MRI ?…)

Range monitoring, dose reconstruction, adaptive…

End to end management of the movements

Prepare the future :
