Welcome to the latest Tube & Pipe Technology magazine.

In this bumper issue we feature two great trade shows –

FABTECH, which this year returns to Chicago, and the

São Paulo-based Tubotech, which is held every two years.

After some recent nervous activity in stockmarkets around

the world, which thankfully seem to have now stabilised, it is

good to hear that attendances at both events are predicted

to be record breaking, which just about sums up the positive

and proactive attitude that the tube and pipe technology

market has taken around the globe over the past three or

four years.

I recently celebrated my second year working in the industry

and the main thing I have learnt in that time is what a

truly global and dynamic industry this is – packed full of

experienced and wise heads that have seen these sort of

economic problems before and know how to battle through

and come out stronger at the other side.

Next issue we have features on bending as well as software

so get your articles to me as soon as you can.
