culptors aren’t just artists—they’re businesspeople too. Sculptors

have to make money if they want to dedicate their lives to mak-

ing sculpture without spending time on other jobs.

Artists of all kinds usually find it hard to break into the business.

Sculptors need skill, determination and hard work, some money to get

them started, and some luck. Becoming a

professional

sculptor isn’t

easy, but for some people it’s a rewarding and worthwhile career choice.

There are lots of different sculpture businesses out there. Most sculp-

tors focus on trying to sell their works to individual people or companies.
