Fire Theatre’s barrage of improvised humour! Catch two weekly shows at Zeidler Hall:
Theatresports—a hilarious comic competition complete with judges, and CHiMPROV—long
form improvisation. You’re also invited to the monthly throw-down, MAESTRO. With eleven
improvisers on stage, and a spot saved for one lucky audience member, the cast competes for
their chance at stardom and the winning title of Maestro. Is one night of improv not enough?
Laugh yourself silly at funny-bone festivals such as BONFIRE, the Wildfire Festival for gutsy
high school students, and the annual, international 10-day Improvaganza, Canada’s biggest
improv comedy celebration.
It’s all laughs all the time for Edmonton’s longest running improv comedy company. But don’t
just take our word for it—see for yoursel ! We’ve been dishing out guffaws for more than three
decades in the form of high-energy improvisation, collaborations, theatre for young audiences,
full-length plays and comedy workshops, and we have a drawer full of international awards to
show for it.
