Astronergy has completed the

construction of a solar photovoltaic

(PV) power plant in Bulgaria, with a

total installed capacity of 50MWp.

The plant is expected to produce

1,858,548,000kWh of electricity during

the next 25 years with zero carbon

emission.

The company manufactured and

mounted all the polycrystalline PV

modules needed for the project.

Wire & Cable Asia 2012 will take place

And the organisers have teamed up

with Wire & Cable ASIA Magazine as

media partners for the conference,

which will tackle the challenges in

achieving growth including addressing

R & D requirements, copper price

volatility, technological developments

and environmental and quality control

issues.

The speaker line-up includes Luigi

Migliorini, CEO China at Prysmian

Group, one of the world’s leading

manufacturers of high-technology

cables, who will share his industry

knowledge and take part in a debate

addressing methods of growing wire

and cable market share in emerging

Asian markets.

With the fluctuation in the price of

copper it is vital that the cable industry

understand trends in price that directly

affect production cost and pricing

strategy. Michael Jansen, Head of

Metals Research at JP Morgan will

discuss methods of minimising the

impact of copper price volatility on the

wire and cable industry.
