life through timely, precision recutting,”

“Our customer inventory management
system is designed around the customer’s
operation and expected die life cycles,
with the goal of maximising die
utilisation by managing the inventory
to demand. By increasing the number
of recuts used, the customer’s new die
purchases should decrease.”

Fortuna Federn GmbH is a family
owned manufacturer of spring making
machinery and equipment for the global
market and at wire 2012 will present
almost all its production range, in
addition to new products making their
debut.
The ve axis servo controlled WIM CNC
lathe coilers for production of all types
of cylindrical springs and all kinds of
wire parts will be presented through the
WIM-12 CNC 5AX (up to 12mm). Also
on show will be the new WIM-40 CNC
(up to 40mm) spring lathe coiler. This
automatic coiler is capable of producing
springs automatically from smaller, as
well as from larger, wire diameters. Also
on display will be the WIM-5 CNC spring
lathe coiler (up to 5mm).
BEM CNC, the servo controlled machinery
line for half automatic production of
the most diverse bending parts, will
be presented with BEM-12 CNC (up to
12mm) machine.
