less down time and labour savings. The ADV Honeycomb RF
screen also provides increased UV light transmission through
the RF screen resulting in more UV light to the bre and provides

Mixer began manufacturing rubber and thermoplastic cable
compounds in 1996 to meet the speci c demands of the
wire and cable industry. Fully automated production lines
and advanced testing facilities maintain consistent quality
of an annual production of over 25,000 metric tons of cable
compounds for low, medium and high voltage cables. Banbury
internal mixers and strainer extruders are used to manufacture
compounds in granular form.
The company now produces insulation, sheathing, bedding and
masterbatch cable compounds based on halogen-free polymers
and additives with low toxicity and clear smoke emission. The
Mixer range includes heavy metal free, high LOI and re, oil and
ozone resistant compounds.
Mixer has introduced a new line of colour masterbatches
designed for cable producers who may use half the normal
concentration rates because of the high pigment concentration
