Several recent technical studies have
demonstrated the advantages of EPDM
insulation over XLPE for medium voltage
cable insulation. EPDM continues to
be a top insulation choice due to its
record of long service life, exibility and
performance in the medium voltage
cable market. Mixer o ers a range
of EPDM medium and high voltage
insulation compounds to supply this
returning market trend to rubber
compounds.
Mixer’s on-site laboratory is at customers’
disposal for testing material properties
and behaviours. Clients can request
tests of their products in order to verify
the correct cross-linking of materials,
the correct extrusion behaviour and if
their product complies with standards.

The National Machinery LLC exhibit
will be better than ever. The stand will
have something for everyone in the
cold forming market. Experts from sales,
customer support, Met-MAX innovations,
used machinery, Mectron and DTI will be
available to help with all of your parts
production needs.

two demonstration machines.
The rst machine is a Formax FXP37S.
This advanced seven die machine will
produce complex parts at net-shape. This
impressive Formax model includes digital
machine positioning, which displays
the position of the heading slide on the
touch screen of the operator’s control
console. This allows for precise control of
the heading slide to a machine position
“window” – along with other features to
simplify changeover.
The second machine is one of the new
LeanFX models, a LeanFX10M5 equipped
with a Drawing Technology Inc (DTI) wire
drawer. LeanFX is the newest member
of the Formax family and is equipped
with many of the production-proven
technology features, such as:
• Linear feed
• Sealed heading slide liners
• Zero clearance heading slide
• E cient change-over
