The powerful 3.0 litre V6 Turbocharged Diesel* engine offers exceptional
refinement and efficiency, increasing power to 300PS and torque to an impressive
700Nm for improved performance and excellent drivability. Its high pressure
common rail fuel system delivers efficient combustion and fewer emissions.
The engine uses innovative twin parallel sequential turbocharging – a concept
pioneered by Jaguar Land Rover – for smooth, more immediate delivery of power
at all engines speeds, as well as two-stage water cooling to conserve energy. It is
capable of 0-100km/h in 6.2 seconds with CO
2
emissions of just 159g/km CO
2
on
the European combined cycle.
