He’s pink, he’s rotund and he sucks! Literally, of course,

for the lovable glob that is Kirby has the ability to take

the powers of objects and foes that he encounters

by inhaling them. Though the motives behind this

title's conceptualisation may be questionable, that’s

not important right now. What is important is that we

have more Kirby platforming action to get down with

on our 3DS, as a giant spaceship has conquered Kirby’s planet, Pop

Star. NOOOOOOOOO! Having slept through the attack that saw King

Dedede and Meta Knight defeated, it’s now up to Kirby to suit up and

vanquish these uncouth invaders.

Move over Jim Carrey, for young wannabe pirate king

Monkey D Luffy not only has the rubbery face thing

down, he’s nailed the whole elastic body thing! That’ll

happen if you eat a devil fruit. Yes, our stretchy seafarer

returns with his Straw Hat crew and more enemies than

you could shake a cutlass at, in a more traditional arena

brawler than last year’s wonderfully nuts collision with

Omega Force’s Warriors series,

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3

. As such,

there are more unique abilities to let loose, and with 40 or so potential

combatants, that’s a lot of action. Featuring the fab cel-shaded style of

the anime series, this looks quite ARRRRRRRR-mazing!

A long time ago, in a galaxy fa- erm, not that far way,

actually, we last played a LEGO Star Wars game. That

was five years ago now, so excitement is palpable for

this blocky remix of the smash seventh main canon

Star Wars flick. As we’ve come to expect from LEGO

games, the movie’s main story is adhered to while

adding witty dialogue touches that are respectful and

fun. This one takes it all a step further, though, by shoehorning in all-

new adventures that sit between

Return of the Jedi

and

The Force

Awakens

, telling us more about characters new and old. We’ve got a

good feeling about this...

When Star Trek hit us up with the classic line,

“Space, the final frontier” they didn’t know the

half of it. In fact if

No Man’s Sky

is anything to go

by, they didn’t even know the umpteenth of it!

It’s a truly epic space trading, combat, exploration

and discovery trip with the aim of reaching the

centre of the universe. Sound easy? Well, there are

18,446,744,073,709,551,616 planets out there awaiting you. You’ll

need a spare 585 billion years to visit each one – just for a second.

When we say “truly epic” we mean it, man! It’s

Elite

for a new

century, and enough to keep you busy, well, for life.
