e-BUSINESS & ENTREPRENEURSHIP - Online Program (EBE)

The Bluefield College Online degree program in e-Business and Entrepre-

neurism fosters imagination and inspires an entrepreneurial spirit—one that enables

students to not only discover innovative solutions to global challenges but also imple-

ment them. It’s not only what students learn but also how they learn that will set them

apart. In addition to studying both technical and business languages, students work on

real-world projects, getting hands-on, practical experience that is immediately applicable.

This major emphasizes techniques for effective communications and will give

students a road map to launch, implement new products and services, and manage the op-

eration all within an ethical environment and in today’s e-Business context. More so than

ever, today’s business environment is demanding leaders who have an entrepreneurial

spirit and e-Business skills.

Knowing how to launch and run a successful business in virtual and technological

environments requires a skill-set of proven business strategies in staffing, business plan-

ning, e-Business and Internet marketing, budgeting, finance, and franchising. The Entre-

preneurism degree is a great platform for pursuing graduate academic and professional

work.

EBE 3153 Franchising for the Entrepreneur

Franchising for the Entrepreneur provides students with a view of entrepreneurship as a

process of economic or social value creation, rather than the single event of opening a busi-

ness. This process applies equally well whether the result is a for-profit business enterprise
