XV. PAYROLL DATES
Paydays are the 5th and 20th day of every month. Employees will enter and submit their
time for the day by the end of each day into the Practice software system. The Firm uses
an outside accounting service for the preparation of payroll checks. The above dates are
approximate and the Firm is not responsible for delays.
XVI. EMPLOYEE EVALUATIONS
Employee evaluations may be conducted at times and intervals to be established within
the discretion of management. Pay increases, if any, will be considered at the time of
evaluations and will be determined by performance of the employee and profits of
the Firm.
XVII. PERSONNEL RECORDS
The Firm will maintain a personnel file for each employee. The information in the file will be
kept confidential. Each employee may review the contents of their file upon request.
XVIII. TERMINATION AND DISCIPLINE
Although all employment is at will and may be terminated at any time for any or no
reason, employees are advised that the following conduct is unacceptable to the Firm.
This list is not all inclusive.
A. Theft or misappropriation of client, employee, or Firm property, unauthorized
removal of the same, including items found on the Firm premises;
B. Unauthorized absence from work;
C. Excessive tardiness;
D. Supplying false or misleading information or withholding requested information
when applying for employment;
E. Failure to perform job assignments satisfactorily and efficiently;
F. Roughhousing;
G. Unauthorized publication of confidential information;
H. Failure to comply with the Firm’s rules of safety and work attire;
I. Smoking, eating, or drinking in unauthorized areas (smoking is prohibited
anywhere in the office and building);
J. Interfering with, defacing, changing, or altering any posted work schedule,
employee notice, directive, or order, or posting notices contrary to the
Firm’s policy;
K. Entering or using Firm property without permission;
L. Unauthorized possession of firearms or other dangerous weapons on Firm
premises or while performing Firm duties;
M. Violation of the Firm’s sexual harassment or equal opportunity employment
policies;
