RT in PCNSL: Dose
Whole brain RT after chemotherapy:
• CR: 23.4 Gy (1.8 Gy per fraction)
• PR/PD/relapse :
– 36-45 Gy (1.5-1.8 Gy per fraction)
– (Simultaneous integrated) boost: not recommended by experts but
used in clinical trials i.e. HOVON 105
Primary whole brain RT for non-candidates for CT:
• 40-50 Gy (2 Gy per fraction)
• For palliation: 30-36 Gy (2-3 Gy per fraction)
