chemical company which operates three
main business units: petrochemicals,
IT and electronic materials, and energy
solutions.
The chemical business manufactures
a wide range of products, from
petrochemical goods to high-value added
plastics. It also extends its chemical
expertise into high-tech areas such as
electronic materials and rechargeable
batteries.
LG Chem, along with Lutene® wire and
cable XLPE compound for power cables
has provided innovative materials to
world-leading companies in the wire
and cable industry. With around 20 years’
service to cable industry, LG Chem o ers
not only outstanding materials up to
400kV rated voltage applications, but also
provides a wide-range of business and
technical services to cable manufacturers
to create higher value and mutual growth.

Lune Prozesstechnik
Stand: 11C63
Many manufacturing processes require
the precise measurement and monitoring
of the process and product temperatures
to ensure high-quality levels.
For
the
continuous
temperature
measurement of moving, structured,
round or at measuring objects, such as
wires, pro les, cables, foils, pipes, rollers or
belts, Lune Prozesstechnik has developed
a
non-contact
surface
temperature
measuring system which does not require
any optics.
The Lune CHF (convective heat ow)
measurement system records temperatures
ranging between 10 and 250°C (50°-482°F)
and o ers a maintenance-free solution
suitable
for
continuous
operation.
In
contrast
to
common
optical
IR-measurement systems, the CHF is
independent of emission factors, colour,
speed, surface structure and varying
distances between sensor head and
surface. The system is wear-free as there
are no moving parts. Moreover, the CHF
features an automatic calibration system,
so the user only needs to set the reference
temperature.
CHF measurement is physically based
on the detection of the convective heat
ow by means of a heat ow sensor. The
heat ow develops between two di erent
objects with diverging temperatures.
The Lune CHF measurement system records
temperatures ranging between 10 and 250°C
(50°-482°F)
