A planetary thread roller with closed
structure, model VA-20-ES, for thread
rolling of pre-hardened fasteners. The
machine controls the feed position and
indexes the feed cam to a fresh start point,
considerably increasing die life. It is also
equipped with Videx’s ‘controlled feed’
system, for threading lap-free threads
on any material. Other features include a
hydraulic clamp of the thread rolling dies
and quick set-up features. Thread range
is M-6 to M-16, with production speed up
to 640 PPM.
Length tolerance is absolute and the
maximum length is unlimited on the
straighten, cut and chamfer machine,
model VC-20-MC, for wire Ø5-13mm.
The VC line is equipped with a stainless
steel run-o guide that requires no
maintenance.

change
takes
seconds and complete change-over is
done in 15-20 minutes.
A bar-end turn, face, drill and chamfer
machine model, VTM, with a magazine.
The
servo-operated
VTM
machines
perform multiple operations on bar ends,
such as chamfer, face, turn and drill. The
machines are equipped with 2-4 turning
stations on each side and each station
can perform up to four operations. When
working from coil, the machines will pull
wire from coil, straighten it, cut to length
and turn the edges.
A U-bolt bending machine for pre-cut
bars, model VBH-25, with a magazine.
This machine is equipped with a fully
adjustable bending die, which can be set
to bend any shape U bolts within minutes,
requiring replacement of the bending
hammers only. The machine’s thread range
is M-6 to M-16.

Weighpack will exhibit a packing system
to pack in compacted form steel bres
used for concrete mixtures with higher
tensile strength speci cations.
This innovative packing machine will
reduce packing volumes up to 35 per cent
allowing more e cient stocking and fewer
residues in packing material. The steel
bres are packed between 20 and 30kg
per box.
The packing equipment can be installed
directly behind the steel bre production
machine, achieving a compact in-line
con guration. With a capacity of 2.5
tons per hour, it will follow the available
production machines on the market.

Windak is proud to launch its new website
at wire 2014,
complete with a new company look and
logo.
With the introduction of its website,
Windak
has
made
it
easier
to
communicate with its customers, and
added a service page where customers
can send warranty or service requests.
Each registered customer could use the
user portal and track their orders, see the
history of them and check what is being
o ered di erent from their previous
ordered systems. Today’s business pace
requires e cient communication and
servicing customers promptly is vital for
Windak.
The company is also celebrating its 20
th
anniversary since it was rst formed in
Stockholm, Sweden.
Also being introduced at the exhibition is
the new high-speed coiling line Quickpack
QP3-H. Faster, with more servo control and
fewer settings, it will give customers a fast
return on the investment.
The QP3-H targets products from 2mm to
12mm in diameter, and coil lengths from
5m to 100m per package. The output is
up to eight coils per minute, depending
on the type of cable and winding length.
