DM 80 EL Multi-wire drawing line: SAMP
will exhibit a complete multi-wire drawing
line based on established and well-proven
concepts, which have been further
enhanced and improved. The result is a
compact, exible, easy-to-operate and
reasonably priced multi-wire drawing
line, made up of the multi-wire drawing
machine DM 80 EL, an annealer AN 160
M and the brand-new dynamic spooler
DS 630 C.
The new DM 80 EL features a standard
Siemens AC air-cooled servo motor. This
characteristic ensures no electrical losses,
no mechanical friction and a completely
maintenance-free machine. Moreover,
the annealer AN 160 M features a new
electronic annealing unit (patent pending)
which ensures optimal current distribution
on the wire and signi cant energy saving.
With the new SAMP con guration,
power factor is always 0.95 or higher
and independent from line speed, wire
diameter or actual current. The increased
energy e ciency and extremely high
power factor (cos
ϕ
) of the manufacturing
drawing line result in lower operating and
maintenance costs, while simultaneously
reducing energy consumption.
