Ticket Printing
It is a requirement to print a ticket for each rail car loaded. At the moment it has been
specified that the ticket shall contain
Date
Rail Car No.
Volume of GOMC loaded
In order to facilitate ticket printing, the operator will be required to manually enter the rail
car identification No. at the batch controller as part of the loading process.
The ticket printing shall be in a safe area at 4 East office or the vicinity of. It will also be
necessary to print the tickets for each rail car post loading of the whole train i.e. it will not
be acceptable to have to return to the safe area to print a ticket each and every time a rail
car is loaded with GOMC. Many similar batch loading ticket printing systems have been
implemented across Inter Terminals UK facilities and for this reason it is anticipated that
the ticket printing requirement will be fulfilled via Inter Terminals Computer Services.
