Albuquerque public defender and con-man Jimmy
McGill becomes the man you better call. Mentored by his brother Chuck
(Michael McKean), a former high profile lawyer, Jimmy’s ambition is to rise
above his reputation as “the kind of lawyer guilty people hire”. Saul added
some welcome levity to
Breaking Bad
and once again Odenkirk is a delight
to watch, but his solo show is no sitcom; Gilligan and co-creator Peter
Gould have delivered another dark-hued and compelling character study.
