is a mini-series starring John Travolta,

Lane. The Collector's Edition four DVD set,

he Starz show will return in 2017 for a final 10-episode
run and will see the pirate war in the West Indies
come to a bloody conclusion. Although plot details are still
to be announced, the network says the finale will bring
viewers to the shores of Treasure
Island.
Co-creator Jonathan E.
Steinberg adds: “It's a rare
privilege in television to be given
the kind of creative freedom
we've enjoyed on this show over
the last four years. While it was
a difficult decision for us to make
this season our last, we simply couldn't imagine anything
beyond it that would make for a better ending to the story,
nor a more natural handoff to
Treasure Island
.”
Although full casting is still to be confirmed, Toby
Stephens is expected to return
as the feared Captain Flint, while
Luke Arnold will once again play
the young Long John Silver.
