Mini-Circuits’ Reflectionless
High Pass Filter Die, 18.3 to 40GHz
Mini-Circuits is pleased to offer our
revolutionary reflectionless filters in
bare die form from stock, allowing
customers to integrate the filters
directly into their hybrids with minimal
space requirements. Mini-Circuits’
XHF-1832-D+ is a reflectionless
high pass filter with a passband from
18.3 to 40GHz and stopband from
DC to 14600MHz. The filter provides
2.1dB passband insertion loss, 1.8:1
passband VSWR, 18dB stopband
rejection, and 1.8:1 stopband VSWR.
It can handle RF input power up to
0.32W in the passband and 0.09W in
the stopband. Fabricated using IPD
process technology on GaAs, the filter
comes housed in a tiny 3x3mm QFN
package.
Mini-Circuits’ X-series of reflectionless
filters employs a novel filter topology
which absorbs and terminates stopband
signals internally rather than reflecting
them back to the source. This new
capability enables unique applications
for filter circuits beyond those suited to
traditional approaches. Reflectionless
filters eliminate stopband signal
reflections, allowing them to be paired
with sensitive devices such as mixers
and multipliers without the need for
extra components like attenuators,
significantly improving system
performance and saving board space.
Reflectionless filter dice are available
from stock in gel-paks of 5, 10, 50
and 100 KGD, and in partial and
full production wafers by request
from authorized Mini-Circuits sales
representatives.

cables are just 0.64” in diameter and
provide with excellent stability of
phase and amplitude versus flexure
to bends as tight as 0.25 inches.
They’ve been performance qualified
to 100,000 flexures so you can be
confident you’re getting reliable
performance and extra-long life in
the most demanding environments.
Use them with your environmental
test chambers to test more units at
once and improve throughput, or
reduce size and weight in your cable
assembly. Model SLC-3FT-SMSM+
is 3 ft. in length and provides low
insertion loss (0.8dB to 1GHz; 4.4dB
to 18GHz) and excellent return loss
(32.3dB to 6GHz; 28dB to 18GHz).
SLC-series spaghetti cables are
available off the shelf in a variety of
lengths with SMA connectors to meet
your needs.
