The Trio Sports Challenge, was held Sunday February
12th and we could not have asked for better weather
to start off the event. The day began at 8:30 am with
one and a half hours of Tennis, at 10:00 am we then
moved on to Pickleball which we played for
approximately an hour and a half which by then
everyone was exhausted but in a good way.
So many people turned out for Pickleball, that it was
nice to see everyone get a chance to try and play. The
pros did a great job mixing everyone, therefore
everyone got a chance to play with different people
and at different levels.
After Pickleball, lunch was something everyone looked
forward to, as we needed to fuel ourselves before we
teed off.
Our Golf did not receive a good turnout…but…with the people we had, everyone had a great time. Before we
ended the day, cocktails and a great dinner was also part of our activities. There is nothing better than having
fun doing what we love and meeting new friends.
Overall the entire day was fantastic, we are looking forward to a much bigger group next year.
And by the way, Mr. Tom Aveni was the only one that played all three sports…he truly was a champion.
